About Us.

Thomm Yumm Thai is the fruition of a lifelong dream.  I grew up on a farm in Thailand.  Everyone had to contribute and I began cooking for my family at the age of five.  I saw my brother cooking rice over the fire and I asked him to teach me how.  From that day on I was the family cook. I later went on to college and became a nurse.  But cooking was always my passion.  Since moving to the United States with my husband I have continued to cook for my family.  I cooked at a Thai restaurant in Oregon for a few years.  In Thailand and here in the U.S. I have cooked for religious festivals and social gatherings.  Many people have asked me to cook for their events.  Many others have encouraged me to open a restaurant.  Now I am finally making that dream a reality and am happy to share my food and my passion with all of you.
